Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia

For the 14th consecutive time, in early May, Europe Week was marked in Croatia with a series of events,. Many of them were be organised or supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia. More information about the European Week 2013 activities can be found in the text.  

The 9 December 2011 signing of the Treaty of Croatia´s Accession to the European Union and the positive outcome of the referendum on Croatia´s accession have enabled the process of ratification of the Treaty by the EU Member States. Once the Treaty is ratified by all Member States, Croatia´s membership in the Union will be formalised as of 1 July 2013. Information on the ratification process can be found in this section.

Based on the complete results published on the web pages of the State Electoral Committee, 781,216 Croatian voters (out of 3,748,815 – in other words, 20.84%) cast their ballot on the first Croatian election for 12 Croatian representatives in the European Parliament.

Based on the criteria provided in the competition rules (creativity and originality of works, quality and clarity of the presentation), the Evaluation Committee of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia has selected the winners of the "Croatia – 28 EU Member” competition.
