Ambassador Vandoren visits Karlovac and Lika-Senj County
The Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Paul Vandoren, visited Karlovac on Friday, 19 November. He met with County Prefect Ivan Vučić and his staff, as well as Karlovac Deputy Mayor Marina Kolaković. He also held a lecture at the Karlovac University of Applied Science about Croatia 's path towards the EU.
Later in the day Ambassador Vandoren also visited Lika-Senj County where he met with County Prefect Milan Jurković and the Mayor of Gospić Milan Kolić. Ambassador Vandoren also visited the project "Trout and Tourists" in Otočac, which is funded by the EU through the PHARE 2005 programme.
